Finished my first playthrough of Resident Evil Requiem today, and I really had a great time. The scares were great, the Grace sections were fantastic, and the Leon sections.... Well, there was one Leon section that was sort of the low point of the game for me. I love the idea of getting RE4 remake style sections breaking up the more exploration-focused sections, but I'm not sure the combat is quite as refined as RE4 remake's was. Then again, that game is based on one of the greatest games ever, so that's not too surprising. Overall though, right now I definitely feel that this game is significantly better than Village, and better than 7, too (and I love 7). I'm starting another playthrough and I hope that I will grow to like the Leon sections even more as I get more skilled.
